6-Year-Old Evie’s Wish for Family Adventures Fulfilled by Make-A-Wish and Kunes RV

At Kunes RV, we are honored to support initiatives that make a difference in the lives of families and individuals. Recently, we had the privilege of partnering with Make-A-Wish to deliver a truly special gift to a remarkable young girl named Evie. At just six years old, Evie has been bravely battling kidney disease, and through the incredible efforts of Make-A-Wish and the generosity of Kunes, her wish for adventure and family bonding was granted—a brand-new RV.

After going through various options, we were able to find the perfect RV for the Hill family, one that will not only accommodate their large family but also, provide the comfort and space needed for many adventures ahead. As part of the Kunes’s ongoing commitment to giving back, this opportunity to partner with Make-A-Wish truly embodied our values of faith, family, and community.

On delivery day, the excitement was palpable. Evie’s grandparents expressed their joy, saying how much their granddaughter loves camping and spending time outdoors. With the new RV, the family now has the opportunity to come together at campsites and share adventures, making new memories along the way.

“We love her very much, and we’re so happy she has something to look forward to,” Evie’s grandfather shared. “It’s been a long journey over these last two years, and it’s great to see her smile again. We’re excited for the good times ahead.”

Evie’s brothers were just as thrilled. Colton, her brother, couldn’t contain his excitement: “It’s amazing that we were given an entire camper for my sister. She loves camping with our grandparents, and now we’ll be able to camp as a family even more!”

This gift is more than just an RV; it’s a symbol of hope, strength, and the power of community. Make-A-Wish, along with Kunes, has given the Hill family the opportunity to embark on new adventures, to experience joy in the simple things, and to reconnect with one another in the great outdoors.

As we watched Evie play with balloons, jump in excitement, and share smiles with her family, we were reminded of the profound impact that granting a wish can have. It’s moments like these that inspire us to continue supporting organizations like Make-A-Wish, to help bring joy to families who need it most.
