It’s “show season” in the RV industry! Many people flock to these large shows as a way to see what’s new with features, interiors, technology and innovation when it comes to all things camping. And let’s face it, it’s a fun thing to do during the cold winter months while thinking about warmer months ahead.

Are trade shows a good place to BUY and RV?

The answer is…it depends.

Trade shows and events can be a great opportunity to see a variety of RVs all in one place and potentially get a good deal.  However, it’s important to remember that the pressure of a deadline or the excitement of the event can sometimes cloud your judgement.

At trade shows, you have the opportunity to speak with industry experts and ask questions about the features and capabilities of different RVs. Many times you will find manufacturer reps at the show as well. While they want you to buy THEIR specific brand, they are not there to sell, so talking to a manufacturer rep can be very informative.

Unlike shopping for an RV online, trade shows allow you to physically inspect and tour different models, giving you a better understanding of the RV’s layout and amenities
