Why Brinkley RV is a BIG Deal

Great. Another RV manufacturer out of Indiana. So what? They’re a dime a dozen in that state. Everyone knows that. What makes Brinkley RV such a big deal? If you recognize industry names like Keystone RV and Grand Design, that’ll be your first clue.

The ownership team is comprised of some of the most experienced and well-known veterans in the business. Five equal partners, each with their own unique specialty and perspective, give this new company over 20 years of customer-focused product design.

Spearheading this breakout company are Ron and Bill Fenech. These former THOR Industries executives played a key role in launching Grand Design RV. The other operating partners include Nate Goldenberg, Ryan Thwaits and Micah Staley who bring their knowledge from Dutchmen and Grand Design. Brinkley RV’s goal in creating this _particular _leadership team, is to have the ability to have one of the five owners touching every single part of the business every day.

What is Means to RE-create Recreation

The owners at Brinkley RV have seen a noticeable shift in focus, within the industry, away from customer experience and customer-focused product design. They saw an opportunity to recreate the recreation vehicle. Their mission is to revolutionize the camping experience so that the customer can spend less time worrying about issues with their RV and more time making memories that will last a lifetime.

R&R Meets R&D

Lead product designer, Micah Staley, took this mission to heart with a maiden voyage in their sleek, new, mid-profile fifth wheel. He and his family went on a 30-day road trip across the country to identify issues and discover the functionality of the design in a real-life test. This rare approach to research and development gave him an exclusive and personal opportunity to collect information. While staying in campgrounds on his journey, Micah chatted with the people that camp on a regular basis in order to get their feedback, ideas and frustrations when it came to their home-away-from-home. He came back to the office with a list of changes that helped to perfect Brinkley RV’s Model Z prototype.
