We’re talking about taking on a new line of Class A Motorhomes by Holiday Rambler at our Kunes RV Lacrosse, Green Bay, Elkhorn, Sheboygan South and Freedom stores. And we are ready to celebrate! Why? Holiday Rambler has a legacy of innovative ideas that nearly every manufacturer has adopted over the years. Their experience in customer-focused travel sets them apart and we will be able to pass those same amenities on to our customers as well.

Just One Day Out of Life-A little Holiday History

Holiday Rambler was founded in 1953. A young man, by the name of Richard Klingler, tinkered away in in his grandmother’s chicken coop and created one of the first, and most successful, RV manufacturing companies in America. Less than ten years later, the company introduced their aluminum body framing and ushered in a new era of lighter, stronger and more durable RVs which became the standard across the industry for over 40 years.

Holiday Rambler was also responsible for many firsts in the RV industry. They figured out conveniences for their customers like built-in refrigerators and holding tanks, dinettes that could be converted into sleeping areas and enclosed underbellies. When they transitioned into building motorhomes, they were the first with a kitchen slide-out, which revolutionized how RV interiors were engineered.
