Every July, the small town of Iola, Wisconsin transforms into something remarkable. More than 120,000 car enthusiasts, families, collectors, and curious wanderers converge on the showgrounds for three days of classic cars, swap meets, live music, and the kind of community energy that's hard to find anywhere else. It's been going on for decades, and the tradition runs deep.

For a lot of attendees, the show doesn't start at the gate. It starts the night before, around a campfire, with neighbors you've never met but somehow already feel like you know.
The Iola Car Show Campground hosts over 1,600 sites, ranging from basic tent sites to oversized RV pull-throughs. Campers get free shuttle service to and from the show grounds each morning, shower facilities, water access, and the kind of atmosphere that turns a three-day event into a genuine getaway.

The 2026 Show: America's Car Show & Swap Meet
This year's theme, "America's Car Show & Swap Meet," arrives at an especially meaningful moment as the country marks its 250th birthday. The show will spotlight red, white, and blue vehicles from 1995 and older, along with military vehicles and a full slate of special guests, including YouTube creator Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage and actor Sung Kang, known to generations of car fans as Han from the Fast & Furious franchise.
There are 2,300 show cars, 4,000 swap spaces, concerts, and a whole lot in between. Admission is $20 for a single day or $30 for the full three-day run. Children 12 and under get in free.
