No. We’re not talking about his experience IN a camper. We’re talking about his experience AS a camper. A camper at Camp Timber-Lee.
Camp Timber-Lee recently hosted their Spring Serve Day on May 20, 2023, with an extraordinary surprise guest – Luke Van Ness, a freshly minted player for the Green Bay Packers. In a display of community service and team spirit, Gregg Kunes of Kunes Auto Group, and new owner of Camp Timber-Lee, was among the dedicated volunteers helping make the event a monumental success…
Camp Timber-Lee, an integral part of Luke Van Ness’s past, was thrilled to have him return and participate in the Spring Serve Day event. For those not aware, Van Ness has an interesting history with the camp – a history that stretches back to his formative years growing up in Barrington, Illinois. A part of this camp in his younger days, he returned to his roots this spring, assisting in the cleanup crew and taking us all on a trip down memory lane.
Despite his recent success as a first-round draft pick for the Green Bay Packers in the 2023 NFL Draft, Van Ness didn’t hesitate to roll up his sleeves and get to work. His actions personify the Green Bay Packers’ ethos, encapsulated in the fan-favorite chant, “Go Pack Go”.
Looking to the future, we can only anticipate great things from Van Ness. With his return to Camp Timber-Lee, he has showcased his commitment to giving back to the community and keeping his ties to his roots strong.
Kunes Auto Group was proud to have supported this incredible event. They stand with the community, with Camp Timber-Lee, and with incredible individuals like Luke Van Ness. It’s events like these that underline the spirit of community and teamwork, which, much like in a good game of football, are always the true winners.
