About the Park

The Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most famous landmarks in our nation. The sweeping landscape with massive gorges and beautiful red sandstone is a must-see destination for any explorer. The park is located in northern Arizona along the Colorado River and is home to the lands of eleven Associated Tribes.

There are plenty of reasons to visit this incredible travel destination. You can go hiking through the gorges, kayaking on the river, or take any number of guided tours to explore the park. There are plenty of lookout spots along the South Rim and North Rim, although the latter is closed for the winter.
